Christian Storms, a fully bilingual American, has been working in Japan for 25 years. According to Tom Mes's book RE-AGITATOR about Miike Takashi, "Christian is one of the few foreigners who can claim to be a true insider in the world of Japanese film. He is a regular and close collaborator of Takashi Miike."
As a producer with experience in over 75 projects, he has spearheaded many Japan related TV shows for networks like the BBC (Top Gear, James May's Cars of the People), Fox (America’s Next Top Model), Discovery Channel and AXN (The Amazing Race Asia) as well as brand movies and commercials for Nike, Apple and Google.
In sports, he was the ENG producer for FIFA TV covering the Japan team in 2010 and 2014 and also served as a producer/director for Fox Sports Japan.
In 2014, he was a co-producer for DARC (2016) 7 million US feature film.
Christian is the owner/line producer of Local 81 (, a Tokyo based TV/film production company.
